Andree grew up within El Paso Texas. The family she comes from has an entertainment gene. As a young child she was surrounded by television hosts such as Karla Martnez (Host of Univision's Despierta America! In addition to her father Andrew Martinez, who is vice president for Safety, Security, and Business Resiliency for Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities in America. Andrew Martinez serves as vice President, Safety, Security and Resiliency at Southern California Edison. SCE is among the largest electric utilities. SCE is accountable for the company's activities, programs and policies that are focused on safety and security of its employees. Martinez provides safety managers with guidance and the programs they need to achieve workgroup safety goals. Martinez's previous position was Director for Safety Training and Compliance, Transmission & Distribution. Prior to that Martinez held the position of Director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. In the thirty years that he was at SCE, Martinez was in a variety of leadership roles in programs aimed at improving performance and remedial actions. They included posts at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS that focused on the protection of public and employees.
